- Is it custody transferrable? (money exchanges)
- Is it over 500vac?
- Is the current over 1200 amps?
If you answer Yes to any of the above questions, the list of hardware below on the excel spreadsheet will not work for your application. If all the above are false, then you can use Red Lion Hardware to build your power monitoring system. If the issue is, your voltage or current are higher, and you can find appropriate sensors with 4-20ma analog outputs then you can still use most of the hardware listed below except for the voltage and current sensors.
Concept:
To complete the build of the system, you will need more than the attached list of parts since someone has to assemble a panel and then install it. Then, someone will need to develop the ladder logic programming to solve the math to get the Kilowatt hours calculated. In other words, " parts are missing". However, the attached list will get you started.
