Problem: When trying to open up Crimson, you click on the icon, you see the software splash label, then the software just crashes.
Cause: Crimson was installed on a part of the SSD memory that BitLocker was locking up after the installation of the software. Meaning that once you clicked the ICON, it could not longer access the needed runtime files
Solution: Follow the footsteps below
- Find the install folder that you put Crimson in
- Check to see if BitLocker has been used to automatically lock the folder
- If the folder is locked, contact your IT dept and ask them to unlock the folder for "all users" and or those with admin permissions, depending on how your IT dept has it setup
- Remove the current install and reinstall it to the harddrive
- Your install should now work normally.
- If not, check to see if BitLocker has bitten you again.
