Customers are starting to run Crimson Software on Windows 11 PCs
Some have run into issues with our USB driver not being able to communicate with the end device
One of the ways that it is possible to solve this problem is listed below.
- Open RegEdit.exe on your pc and run as admin
- Navigate to the following key:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\
- Then check to see if you have the key:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity
- This key, if it exists, needs its Enabled value set to 0. If there is a WasEnabledBy, that value also must be set to 0. Then you need to restart the PC after you change these values.
