- Setpoint Tracking Configuration
Optional use of setpoint tracking function:
Setpoint tracking can be a convenient way to program a setpoint value and have it change automatically in the background when another setpoint value is changed.
Example would be a slowdown and cut to length application.
Setpoint 1 can be set to activate ahead of Setpoint 2 which activates the cutting operation.
Setpoint 1 signals a VFD to decelerate in speed. This command needs to be ahead of the cut to length which can change depending on product.
If setpoint 1 is programmed with an initial decelerate value and Setpoint 2 is also programed with and initial cut to length value.
Enabling Setpoint tracking for Setpoint 1 to track Setpoint 2.
This will automatically update Setpoint 1 every time Setpoint 2 is changed so the slowdown command is sent to the VFD the same distance ahead of Setpoint 2. The operator only will have to change Setpoint 2 length as needed. Press right arrow
14. Select output power up state. Press right arrow.
15. Select auto reset function. Press right arrow.
16. Select output rest with count reset. Press right arrow.
17. Apply changes.
