ISaGRAF is the reference and de facto standard in automation software technology. Introduced in 1990, it was originally designed to bridge the gap between microcomputer systems and PLCs. It has grown to become the leading software technology for open automation, applicable to the traditional automation, embedded control and soft logic markets.
Sixnet currently supports two different versions of the ISaGRAF Workbench: ISaGRAF 3.47 and ISaGRAF Open
Both ISaGRAF 3.47 and ISaGRAF Open supports a flow chart language and five IEC 61131-3 standard PLC languages:
- Sequential function chart
- ladder diagram
- structured text
- instruction list
- function block diagram
IsaGRAF 3 to IsaGRAF 5 Conversion using a .Pia file
Below is the Video clip showing how to import IsaGRAF 3 project to IsaGRAF 5 using .pia file.
Note: You will need the V3 Workbench to un-archive (restore) the .pia file. Once this is done, the source code will be extracted to the default application folder (c:\isawin\SMP).
Open IsaGRAF 5.1 work bench, File ->Import -> IsaGRAF 3 in order to complete the process (Shown in the Video File attached)

Errors shown below will be generated on a windows 7 -32 bit machine if the latest sentinel drivers (7.6.5) aren’t used and the UAC Settings aren’t modified
