Abstract
Parker SSD previously supplied OEM branded Red Lion HMIs. As of 2019, they are no longer supplying these HMIs.
Use Case
Converting DSI8000 and DSI3 files to Crimson files.
Notes
The Parker SSD software contained the 890-RTNX serial driver that was previously not supported by Crimson. As of Crimson 3.1 build 3114 (releasing November/December 2019), the 890-RTNX driver will be available in Crimson. In order to use this driver, a device that supports Crimson 3.1 will be required.
Crimson 3.0 does not support the monochrome units, and therefore cannot import monochrome files, so they will first need to be converted to a color HMI.

- Open another instance of DSI8000.
- Click File-New.
- Select a color model, similar (in size) to the model that will be used in Crimson 3.x.
